MICRO-ROTOR

FBN Calibre 229.01

  • Self-winding mechanical movement
  • Diameter: 14″ (31.60 mm)
  • Thickness: 4.35 mm
  • Frequency: 3Hz (21,600 vibrations/hour)
  • Number of jewels: 34
  • Power reserve: 80 hours
  • Indications: hours, minutes, seconds with stop-seconds function
  • Micro-rotor between bridges
The micro-rotor winding system is off-centred and placed between two bridges. It is secured by two jewels to ensure excellent stability. This reduces the movement thickness and ensures a clear view of the construction.
  • Pawl-fitted micro-rotor
The unidirectional automatic winding with pawl-fitted micro-rotor system is closer to the principles of traditional horology and above all ensures greater long-term efficiency.
  • Double direct-impulse escapement fitted directly
    on the balance
This new double direct-impulse escapement fitted directly on the balance boasts a silicon lever. This modern construction, combined with the use of cutting-edge materials, maximises energy efficiency, which in turn ensures high amplitude for the balance and reduces the mechanical force need to wind the mainspring.
  • Balance spring
    Balance spring with Breguet overcoil.
  • Barrel
Barrel mounted on two jewels to enhance efficiency.
  • Shock-absorbing system
    Shock-absorbing system for the micro-rotor.
  • Oscillating micro-rotor
Oscillating micro-rotor in guilloché 18K gold
  • Decoration
Decoration in harmony with the finest watchmaking traditions with interior angles hand-crafted with a burin, Côtes de Genève striped motif and circular graining.
